Our Days Are Numbered

forgivenOur days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away. Psalm 90:10

Do you wonder how many years or days God has in store for you to become the person that He wants you to be? Are you still waiting to become the writer that God has predestined you to become? Our days are quickly flitting by and whether our strengths, troubles or illnesses have slowed us down, we need to keep pushing along.

Since retiring I find myself thinking about my day’s ending more that I used to. Even the best of our days, whether filled with trouble or sorrows, shouldn’t  be wasted. We  can’t let troubles interfere with fulfilling our destiny, as a writer. Our worst days may be the best days for God to work through us.

Lord, no matter what, the days still fly by and quickly come to an end. As a writer we don’t want to allow our days to be meaningless. We want to leave something of ourselves so You know we did our best. Help us become the writers You predestined.
